Football fever is on! Germany will be this year's host country of the Fifa World Cup 2006. No one is more excited than the Germans because they adore this sport, both as player and fans in the stands. The FIFA 2006
World Cup, which is disputed among nations every four years, kicks off in a state-of-the art stadium in Munich on June 9. Twelve cities - Berlin, Dortmund, Frankfurt/Main, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Hannover, Kaiserslautern, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart - have been named to host the Finals.
